Posted by aesthetic on Apr-04-05, 00:30 AM (MST) Can anyone point me to a how-to on communicating w/ your spirit guides? I've tried to, off and on, for the past few months, but no dice. I have some more research and searching to do, but while I was here, I was curious if anyone knew of anything worth looking at.

The easiest way to learn to communicate with your guidance is to learn to automatic write. you can go the page on this site that talks about the process and gives you a script to use that will help in the process along with a lot of questions you may want to know.
here is the page

Posted by aesthetic on Aug-19-05, 00:17 AM (MST) Well, I've done a bunch of automatic writing. The problem is, I honestly can't tell if I'm speaking to my spirit guide, or anyone else for the matter, or if I'm just talking to myself and my subconcious.
I've gotten what may be the name of my spirit guide and the name of my higher self, but my spirit guide patently will not tell me anything that I don't already know that I can verify independantly. There is nothing that I've written that I can say came from another entity.
Might anyone have any ideas about how I can tell if this really is my spirit guide talking, and not just self-hypnosis? I'm quite unsure at this point.

you might want to look at the automatic writing page that I shared in my last entry. There are questions on the page that you probably don't have conscious knowledge of that you could ask your guide, HS. It can be challenging when you just get started automatic writing to determine whether it's you or guides etc doing the writing. It just takes time. After awhile you will start to recognize the difference between your "mind" and guides, HS. Many of the questions on the auto writing page have been answered by our guides when we asked those and other questions. so you can ask your guides/HS and then check for corroboration.
