Reiki

My ex-husband was a Reiki master and he only did a healing on me once, and about half way through I made him stop because I felt like I was being melted to the floor in a bad way.  I have come upon some people doing Reiki that the people they are working on get up feeling great, So I think the system may be corrupt but that some individuals are doing healing and calling it Reiki but really just doing their own thing.  For at least 15 years whenever I am doing healing work their will inevitably be someone who will show up and ask my why I don't get my Reiki credentials instead of doing my own thing.  It always gives me a good laugh because I never gave a damn about credentials, it's just silly.  I learned how to do healing work right from spirit why would I want to go out and learn some system that I wouldn't use to get a piece of paper.  They usually do it for more $$$$$ but I don't charge anyway so it would make no difference In my income LOL

Note: Someone did actually spontaniously did a Reiki activation on me in 2003 and then sent me the first level papers.  I was suppose to "practice"  But having been a healer for many years already I didn't feel the need to practice running basic energy, nor did I care. LOL  She actually had really sweet energy and good intentions.
