Money & Healing - Reiki

That money question is a hard one I sure wish I had an answer on that one for myself.  I know spirit has been very clear that I am not to make money with things of spirit.  They are freely given to me and they really don't belong to me, so to speak.  I have been in several conversations lately about Reiki and the one thing they have all had in common is people finally questioning the system for various reasons  One is the fact that Reiki practitioners don't actually learn how to handle any given situations with people's energy, and of course another is the big money stuff going on.  My ex-husband Craig was a Reiki master and I remember back in 1992 or so he was so upset that his Reiki teacher was now charging other people 500.00 for the master level he couldn't believe the greed.  Now I am hearing of people charging 10,000.00!  That is insane all just to get a little piece of paper that says you can give energy.  Any one can give energy with no training, just intent, hopefully they know to be bringing energy through them to be sure they are not depleted though.  Little kids are really good at it, if you ask a 5 year old to put their hand on a sore knee and imagine healing energy making your knee better you may get blown away by how much energy they will bring through.  If your hands are getting hot then that is a first sign that doing healing work is something natural to you.
