Pyramid of the Moon

Pyramid of the Sun

Teotihuacan was an Indian village located northwest of what is now Mexico city approximately 2000 years ago. The tribe was made up of "Indians" from Mexico, South western United States, Central and South America. These people were drawn to Teotihuacan much like people were challenged to move to the United States. Although the people were diverse in background, they were united in their love for peace, harmony and deep spirituality.
Several of our group returned to this special place during past life regressions, and the following information was relayed during these regressions:

All reported seeing the love expressed by those in the village. There was no need for warriors, due to the peaceful way of existence at that time. The community gatekeepers protected the village from the other tribes occasional scouting parties. This was necessary because the Teotihuacan women were said to be very beautiful and were occasionally kidnapped by other tribes.

There were weddings conducted by the spiritual leader. All of our ceremonies were on one of the vast shelves around the pyramids and the drums and chants were heard for miles around. The whole village was there as they were for all special occasions. The bride and groom exchanged symbolic necklaces with the bride receiving the special pendant that represented the grooms family. Each family wore a necklace with a gem sphere in the center. The sphere represented the occupation of the head of the family. At the marriage ceremony the new wife was given the pendant of the husband.

The elders of the tribe lived on the outskirts of the village in thatched roof homes made of sapling trees. As we walked toward the center of the village the houses were made of stone or brick and the large pyramids were visible. The pyramids of the sun and moon were in the center of the city. This life style was maintained for many hundreds of years.

On a very ominous day the drums were sounding warning rhythms. The foreigners were on the way. Some of the Teotihuacan people took what they could carry, collected their families, and were able to hide out of town and others were away at the time. The majority of the tribe however, was mercilessly slaughtered when they would not convert to the foreigners religious ways much like the event that occurred when Cortez and the priests tried to convert the Indians of their time. Because of this horrible travesty the Teotihuacan people were not able to fulfill their group (about 25,000) dharma to spread the truth of spirit. As a result they made a decision in spirit to return every 700 years or so to try once again to spread the truth.
