Steve and I have been sending some emails back and forth since I posted that last email from him above. He shared some additional info about the experience and so I asked him if he was ok with my posting it here so all of you could benefit from what he shared. Thank you Steve!!
Steve started with: Hey Randy, Thanks for posting my email in the Testimonials thread of the Abundance Project.
I replied: My pleasure Steve, I think it's great that you were able to receive a blessing like that. Or should I say WOO HOO.
The process is working and we will see more and more of these events as people continue to share their experiences.
He commented: Yes it came at a time when it was much needed and I was a little worried that I would be out of work, kinda shocked and a little spooky as I haven't experienced anything positive so quickly like this before. Normally on the other end of the stick where I ask myself why crappy things happen to me, but I suppose there's a reason why this was and is leading me on to a spiritual path
and I said: That's what makes it so great. It came before you had time to get into old patterns or stress out about the what if's. *S* It allows me to see that what I need will be received in a timely manor unlike what has happened in my life. You probably know it too. 1 minute to midnight. LOL Think it will be a great indicator for the rest of the group of how things can be "easy" and without the normal stressful crap. Seems for most of us mere mortals it's about changing our perspective on how things work. So, great job on helping the rest of us see.
To which he commented: Just to describe it in a little more detail, sounds weird but lately I have these visions of being surrounded by cash - notes (started about a month ago) like its been dumped on me by a dump truck so I'm almost swimming in cash. I didn't think this it came to me so every morning now I impress that vision on me and will start to attach a story to it to make my imagination even bigger, to manifest it so to speak. Seems to be working and I have a gut feeling that the difference is my mindset expects that I will receive when I ask so I also imagine putting my hand(s) out to receive abundance and remember to say thank you to the Universe. I think being thankful helps as before it was more of a desperate want, giving out wrong energy. Funny thing is, and I think this is important, I may have also be tested of late (by the Universe) as there have been times where I have given where needed…
eg. I have given my cousins a laptop that I never used and knew it was much needed for their business. And yesterday got a knock at the door by two kids wanting sponsorship for their school knowledge-athon. I gave them some money and so did my Mother and am glad this happened as I noticed the difference in giving (as if it was a lesson) between my Mother and my changing self. Mum was questioning the legitimacy of the piece of paper the kids handed us for the sponsorship donation where I gave unconditionally to see a smile on their face and talked to them wishing them well. Note: I am not bad talking my Mum as she is the most generous lady I know but I think it is more society and the conditioning that have made her think like that – news and media creating fear and mistrust. I think I am really starting to understand and am on the right track watching what happens next being very mindful of my thoughts.
I said: Seems to be a key of sorts. We need to be able to visualize ourselves in receivership so to speak. If we can't see ourselves as abundant it is hard to receive it. Probably self worth issues tied in there too. The door has to be open. Perhaps that is one of the "unseen" things on our collective Abundant Life charts. SEE YOURSELF RECEIVING!! Get that one on the plus side of the chart and things start to really happen. I agree with you that our attitudes and thought process are a big part of this and something for all of us to pay attn to.
Did something somewhat similar for our neighbors (across the street). We have wood stoves that are used in the winter to offset the heating bill and I still haven't gotten out there to collect wood for this year but our other neighbor (next door) gave us some stuff they had taken down. I kept about 1/3 of it as it was the bigger stuff and gave the rest to the across the street neighbors. They use a lot of the smaller stuff for outdoor cooking when they are here. Will be fun to see the look on their faces when they get here end of this month. *S* This is were I asked him if it was ok to post this here.
And Steve responded: Yeah sure, I’m a pretty open person these days so put it all in if you want even though re-reading what I wrote yesterday I sound a bit of a nutter
(not to me you don't. Makes perfect sense) I’m sure it won’t be long before you receive gifts from our project. Cripes if I can receive gifts then anyone can – I will share my unfortunate history with you one day, which I blame no-one but myself for by the way and I’ve learnt hard lessons… well in this lifetime anyway - I also know the underlying nature of my good fortune has been the abundance project and not just my thoughts, so a special thanks to you and Engtovo for creating this project. I have learnt so much from you guys from just reading your website and I encourage you and Engtovo to write that book sooner rather than later, I for one would pay good money for it.
