Ok so the scumbags in congress say no to the bailout and then a few days later the senate passes they're version of it and the congress in a cowardly act  pass a resolution or whatever the hell it's called that says in essence, that if the senate passes the bill they will go along with it.

The senate then passes the bill thats worse than the congressional bill and it is signed today.   So the people are on the hook for 1 trillion or so.  Don't forget the interest that will have to be paid to someone so that number is closer to 5-6 trillion.  All this after the people in mass told them not interested.   Wonder how much more the people are going to take before they sent all of those scumbags on a one way trip to hell.

Who the hell are the beneficiaries of this crap??   The rich aren't paying taxes already and the big corps don't pay anything so we get the shaft.    Yep the hard working families that can barely make ends meet and so many of whom are already loosing their houses etc..   get to pay for this crap.   it wasn't all that long ago (80 - 100 years) that if a scandal on the local level happened that affected the town or county the people would have been saying get a rope.  Now we have a planetary scam of such magnitude that most folks can't or won't even be able to conceive of it and the sheeple all say baaa   baaaa  baaa.      On top of this as if in preparation for a potential response from the people the govt has started putting active duty army personnel around the country as a "terrorist prevention" or some such shit.  BS.   That act is against the constitution flat out.  no question.  With all the crap they are up to maybe W was correct when he said the constitution is just a piece of paper.  They don't seem to pay any attention to it anymore.

Engtovo made an interesting connection with all of this stuff.  The govt now has physical assets namely all of those houses from the bad mortgages.  Nice way for the scum to consolidate a hugh number of assets into their possession without having to pay for them.

And six days later they're still with the fear mongering, floating rumors of a bank holiday, trying to scare markets with jawboning. The mint is out of bullion coins now too. It makes me think they're
still planning something really bad to screw thing up as much as possible, acting like they are with the bailout ripoff already signed.  And the people didn't buy it! That's the great news. They accepted 911, Iraq, torture, rendition, and privacy invasion, atrocities at the conventions, an obviously controlled media, but NOT an end to material prosperity. Haha. Hope there's room enough in the FEMA camps for all the establishment predator types. They should all run off and hide there and let the adults run things for a change.

Where's the plunge  protection team (aka the working group on financial markets) now?

Here's some fast loading, self refreshing charts for anyone who enjoys this stuff (Pick the time frame) :

I'd be heartened not to see a downside breakout in the S&P(ES.Z08)when Europe opens.
