Good afternoon.  I sent a message almost a month ago to a kundalini mailing list, which included this:

Quote
The yawning and involuntary neck movement has been so frequent that it had the potential of causing problems outside the home that I've had to suppress it.  (Don't try this at home, folks.)  Because of this, I've experienced moments where I'm being unsuccessfully forced into a trance.  The closest I've gotten to completely being put into one was yesterday at work, while I was at my desk.  For some reason, I noticed my eyes closed and then felt something pulling me up as if to stand. . . then I felt myself getting closer to the computer, and when it felt like I was going to fall over, I regained control.  I have not changed the amount of sleep I've been getting for some time.

Whoever said that no aspect of person would ever be untouched by kundalini was not joking.  I've had many incidents this week when my thoughts were deliberately cut off, random thoughts put in and taken out as quickly as they came in, and now today two instances where it seemed like I saw my own environment and scenery at some other location at the *same* time (not quite like a hologram, though).  I've had to do manual tasks to block all of this and maintain control of my body and mind.

I was also highly agitated Tuesday and most of yesterday.  I don't know how that came about, nor does it matter now since I feel better.

About two weeks later, I sent this follow-up:

Quote
Just a follow up from two weeks ago.  Similar stuff is still happening - except my mind has been left alone this time.  Earlier this week, there was a situation where I briefly saw darkness and heard a desi singer in the background (sorry, I can't remember the name of the song she was singing).  This morning, I had a brief moment where I saw and heard thing from a different environment as well as the one I'm in now.  A few minutes ago, what I saw alternated between my workstation and some road scene. . . and at the end, I'm being pushed forward, then thrown back, as if I were in a car accident.  The scenery was different from those in two accidents I was invovlved in a few years ago (the only two accidents I've been in in my life).  The brief
flashes make it impossible for me to determine anything else.  Quite disorienting.

A couple of people on that list had relayed similar experiences to me, but no explanations as to why this is happening.

I'm becoming slightly more convinced that kundalini was involved in those situations, but what interests me more is if these experiences can be used to determine the kundalini's progress, and whether one can communicate with the kundalini (it is said to have its own consciousness, and some traditions refer to kundalini as a goddess).  I'm still having a hard time trusting my "inner voice" (which keeps saying "the work" is almost complete) since I've gotten garbage posing as guidance from spirits years ago, so it would help if I could look at these incidents as signposts.  I don't remember seeing things like this in Engtovo's article about kundalini, but then again, I may have misunderstood something.

Hey James I never saw this in here I have been sick for a few months Sorry about that.  What you are describing would be the kind of things that happen when the kundalini is sitting at the third eye level and working hard to pop through the head.  So your inner voice is correct that it is almost done.  I guess when I wrote the kundalini article people where asking more about the physical things like headaches and not really there more spiritual things like feeling you are expereincing more than one thing at a time.  It is possible during that time to tune into your parallel selves through this budding high self connection of the kundalini and actually see things that are happening to the other person even.

The kundalini itself it not a consciousness but an energy but the energy is direct for higher self and because it is programed in advance, to some people it can feel like it has a mind of its own.  I'm not sure how it ever got to be seen as goddess other than it is just so powerful and once started it cannot be stopped so I assume the feeling that is out of control lends one to want to see it as a higher power outside of self.  It is a higher power in essence but it is connecting you fully to your inner/higher self so if there is a god/goddess involved, you are it!  LOL

It’s not a problem.  Thank you for taking time to reply.

As bad as these incidents are while I am trying to work, it would have been better if they had lasted longer so that I could better remember and better see what was going on.  I definitely know that I’ve experienced these things in first person (as opposed to third person where I would have been observing).  In fact, it has happened several times again earlier this afternoon, and each time it has been too brief for me to remember.  I know there was a theme of “unification” in one or two, but I don’t know yet in which context that should be taken.

Since I last posted, not only have I had headaches (which I’ve been so used to for years that I don’t see it as a sign of anything), I’ve also had tingling sensations in the forehead – like a headband was there or something.  There are also times when it felt like there were a pair of hands massaging in that same area.  It all stopped after a short time and returned after I unsubscribed from the kundalini mailing list I mentioned earlier (for reasons which would take at least another post to explain).

Unfortunately, I do not have any control over when (and how long) this happens.  Until I figure out how to fix this situation, I doubt I will be able to tune into my parallel selves.  It’s bad enough that I have lost the ability to meditate for a few weeks now (meaning that my practicing yoga nidra is out of the question).  If I attempt to do it, I end up going to sleep.

About a month ago, I came across a few othe articles about kundalini.  I started see what the connection is, although it seems impossible for me to put in words right now.  I do know that in some traditions, such as Gnosticism and Hinduism, Shakti is considered the Divine Mother.  The individual manifestation is Kundalini, or Kundalini Shakti.  So now I could see how others would view Kundalini as a goddess. . . the goddess within.  I’m not even sure if making sense here, but after several hours of trying to figure out what to write, this is as close as I can get at the moment.

Interestingly, I noticed one change within me not long after reading your post this past Friday, and a couple of subtle changes this morning.  It seems like I’m going in the right direction, and finally I realize I’m not crazy at all!  Now, I just need to work on assisting kundalini up through the crown.

Thanks again.  I hope you feel much better soon.

Back in 1990 and 91 randy and I were both experiencing the feeling of a band around our head, spirit had both of us make headbands braiding together some really soft leather and in the front there was one main crystal and a couple smaller ones on either side that we chose intuitively.  It's been so long but I am pretty sure the points were facing upward.  We used to wear them while meditating, doing healing work or around the house if our heads were feeling uncomfortable and it really helped the energy to move more freely and progress.  It also helped to be able to focus on what I was doing.  We used to make a lot of rattles and drum beaters at the time and I usually wore it while doing that as well and I would feel more tuned in to what I was doing.

Wow that's a blast from the past.   I vaguely remember having some moldavite on mine.  The Main crystal was over the 3rd eye area and the other two (one each side) were just in front of the temple.
