an introduction

Hi folks,  Seen as how this section of the forum is for us to get to know each other better I thought I would start.  Engtovo (sister), Bev (mom), and I live in SW Colorado at 7680 ft on a couple acres. It's 8 miles down dirt roads to get here from the highway.  We've been here since 2002.   Most of our neighbors are seasonal so it's pretty quiet up here most of the time.   Our full time neighbors tend to be the deer, bear, turkeys, occasional bobcat or mountain lion, and a few two legged folks too. 

My question to you is what drew you to participate in the Abundance Project?

What drew me to the abundance project....hmm. I think I was prepared to enter a new phase of my life and that I was ready to be open to infinite possibilities. I was being told that this summer was going to bring an opportunity to learn some large lessons on who I truly am and how I want to live this life. I took the month of July off from work and spent time with my extended family for a week then high tailed to Colorado to process and recover:) On my return, I was invited to the abundance project and I was ready to invite into my life the loving intentions of the group. I was ready to trust that this is my time to shine. On the 15th I turned 44 and I told my husband, get ready as this is my day of infinite possibilities! Good things are happening. They were before but the pace has picked up. So here we go! It's going to be a fun ride!

Lori shared this in email with the group but I thought it would be good to put it here also for those that follow. 

I've a fun double-witness to add to your incident of red letters-- on 8/1/08 I wrote everyone's name from the circle, as well as the abundance prayer for us, in red letters on a piece of paper, which I've been using as a bookmark in the book I was, and still am, currently reading, The Feng Shui of Abundance by Suzan Hilton ( this book's title is also in red letters)!

Your names are still journeying with me as I navigate through this knowledge about currency (= energy flow). I personally haven't perceived a leading to burn the list, but I've been busy preparing for a geographical move, so my focus has been diverted to this huge paradigm shift that ironically began to manifest the same day Engtovo posted The Abundance Project (ie, July 12, which is a date known in history as Orange Day from the Battle of the Boyne...a foreshadowing of the orange-red names to manifest on Aug. 16....ironically, this time span from 7/12-- 8/16 = 35 days & 3 + 5 = 8 = abundance!). My move will happen at the end of this month (I'll be living in a different state, literally and figuratively, before the 8/30 new moon!). My new position and living arrangement, which resulted from this initial 7/12 phone call, became concrete on Aug. 6-- this new opportunity is definitely providing me abundance in more ways than one!!

If anyone does not have peace about my aforementioned list being used as a bookmark in said book, I will gladly consider your insights/concerns. So far I am seeing your names resting in this book as a positive physical contact which will manifest an abundance intention for everyone in the circle.

hi all

ive been meaning to do this for the past couple of weeks but not had a chance so here i am. i joined the abundance project after i discovered engtovo's website about 6 months previously on one of my potters around the internet, and totally warmed to her writings and then listened to the podcast and also fell in love with the family and all they had to say.

i learnt a lot from listening to their thoughts and theories and feelings and felt a sense of unity from that alone. that there were some people in a totally different part of the world making the effort to share their experiences so that others could learn. And i think i felt a little bit stranded on an island up until then - with my crazy thoughts and beliefs and feelings about the universe and the way it worked. But when i heard a lot of what they had to say all my ideas and learning came together and i guess i felt pretty abundant already!

i am 100% a cosmic orderer and talk to source all the time about all sorts really so when the abundance project came along i wanted to be involved with my whole heart. It was one giant collective cosmic order and that allys with a lot of my own dealings with source and the universe and so i absolutly wante to take part and also show my support and gratitude to engtovo and the family.

since taking part in the abundance project - life has definitely been abundant. One of the key things that has always been missing from my life has been a partner to share my life with - ive been abundant in many other ways in my life - financially, intellectually, i love my job and am self employed so those parts of my life have been abundant however i was always missing out on love for no explainable reason (spirit has told me that the reason my life is abundant in other areas is because it wasn't abundant with relationships as if it had given me what i wanted years ago then i would not have worked hard and grafted to get to where i am and be where i am with all the other areas of my life so it was a patience thing, and i spirit would not let me settle for less than real love) however both spirit and i know that i had gone beyond lonely and had started to really think that it would never happen for me, especially after i lost one potential life partner in the london bombs on July 7th 2005. I thought maybe that it just was not meant to be.

Two weeks before the day of the balloon and the abundance project i met a very lovely man. The day after the abundance project he asked me if i would his girlfriend. And 2 weeks later than that he told me he loved me. And amazingly i love him too. Its happened at last. If i could write down everything i wanted and needed (and in fact i had definitely had a conversation with spirit about the kind of man that would be perfect for me probably about a week or 2 before he walked into my life! and he is all of those things just in his nature without him even trying to be anything that i want or i need ) we balance each other perfectly and bring each other an abundance of all that we need to keep doing the things that we need to do in order to change the world in our own little ways.

he is an architect a scientist a physicist... i am a communicator, a universal spirit, i work with music & media to try to help spread positive messages on a global scale (if possible)...

anyway - thats me and my experiences with the abundance project so far.
here is to everyone on the list and everyone who is reading this who is thinking about joining.
It can only have a positive effect and the energy that we channel into it is for the good of everyone.
